So I know that I was tagged and I need to do a few posts with pictures, a song lists, my current purse. Sorry for the delay. I went skiing with my family last week and ended up getting the flu. I am just now recovering and catching back up. Steamboat was a blast and I only lost one ski day from being sick.

I also need to blog about my wedding. Monday was our 6 month anniversary and that is a good enough reason to finally post some pictures.

So I'll leave you with a few of the pictures that I do have online from our wedding for now.

Pray for Harper!

If you don't already follow Kelly's Korner blog and know what is going on, head over there and read the story about her and her new daughter, Harper. Harper has pnuemonia and was airlifted to Tulsa. Please keep the Stamps family in your thoughts and prayers.

Selling the House....

So the house is officially on the market, thanks to Clemsongirl. (I know that she is going to hate me by the end of the process - lets just say that I am a very involved seller :) ) The pictures are fabulous, we just need the buyer.

Keep your fingers crossed, wish us luck, say a prayer, do a jig, cast a spell, visit the witch doctor, etc. something to send us good house selling juju our way!

Here's a little photo tour of our house.

Need help!

Mr P and I spent this past weekend looking at houses and neighborhoods in Dallas, TX. We found one we love and a builder that is fabulous - Lantana. We went from only looking and taking a wait see approach since we have to sell our house here, to putting a contingent contract down on a lot to build. Craziness!!! This move is getting more and more real by the day.

The fabulous Clemsongirl is listing our house. She blogged about our house(first house) yesterday. We are super excited to be working with her. I'll post more pictures of the house once we get the pro ones in the listing. Wish us luck that she sells it really fast.

So I need a bit of help from everyone. Can anyone recommend some good home decorating blogs? I need inspiration on colors and kitchens. I hope I am not putting the cart before the horse, but I need to be ready just in case!

Destinations 2008 and 2009

So obviously getting married in 2008 it was a very busy year, but we had a great time. We did a little traveling, but next year is shaping up to be even better.

Here are all of the places that we went to in 2008

Grand Blanc, Michigan
Summit Co, Colorado - Keystone, Copper and Breckenridge
Riviera Maya, Mexico
Birmingham, Alabama
Destin, Florida
Maui, Hawaii
Kauai, Hawaii
Oahu, Hawaii
Nashville, Tennessee
Dallas, Texas

This year is shaping up to be crazy in terms of travel, especially given to possibility of moving to Dallas.

Dallas, Texas
Steamboat Srpings, Colorado
Dublin, Ireland
Waterford, Ireland
Kilkenny or Cork, Ireland
Killarney, Ireland
Liverpool, England
Manchester, England
Washington, D.C.
Mexico (90% sure)
Houston, Texas
Grand Blanc, Michigan

As well as the possibilities for more places. This is going to be a fun year. I leave on my first trip of 2009 on Friday!!

Love, Love, Love

So now that I've struggled for the past month for christmas suggestions to give other people, I finally found something that I love and really want. It is probably too late and my husband is already sick of ideas for Valentine's day. (He has spent his limit already and I keep deferring my other ideas to the next gift-giving holiday)

I just stumbled across this on the Hostess with the Mostess Blog.

These are the coolest monogrammed coasters that I've ever seen. I love all of the patterns and monogram designs. It isn't a bad deal for $80 you get 125 coasters and the lucite tray or you can order just 125 coasters for $50.

Coming Back!

So I am finally married and settled in, my most recent project from hell at work has wrapped up and I am ready to get back to blogging a little.

I've given the blog a bit of a facelift. I hope that you like it.

I'll be back soon to post pictures from the wedding, honeymoon, etc.

Mexico!!!

We leave at 6:55 in the morning for a few days in Mexico. We are staying at the Excellence Riviera Cancun. I can't wait to float around the lazy river with a fruity drink in hand.

We stayed here last year and it was amazing - minus a few issues with the power going out. As a result we got 3 free nights to go back. This will be a little pre-honeymoon for us to get away from the stresses of wedding planning. We both really need it.

We'll be back next week with pictures!!

Here is one from last year. It was so incredible. The backdrop almost looks fake.

34!?!?!

So yep, I am officially in my mid-30's and not really liking this so much. I did have a great birthday. Mr. P started the day going and buying me Starbucks and flowers as well as filling my car up with gas (inside joke that I never have gas) We then went furniture shopping.

His parents are buying us this as a wedding present.

My parents are buying us this and a mattress:

After furniture shopping we got lunch and Cold Stone. Oh how I love their Peanut Butter cup Perfection, but alas on a wedding diet I am only allowed to have it on my birthday.

We later met up with my parents to go to dinner at Roy's. It was a nice dinner, not my favorite, but good family time. My parents bought me this with my new monogram on it and loaded the pockets with tennis related items: sunscreen, grips, bug spray, visor, tennis towel, etc. I also got a few other little things.

My sister bought me a few more straps for my switch flops. I can't wait until the kitten heels ones come out.

Mr. P had already bought me a Wii. I am now eyeing the Wii Fit. Hmmm I wonder if my new trainer will consider Wii Fit cardio. I doubt it though.

All in all it was a great birthday weekend. I also found out that I won the 25th Birthday giveaway from Life is a Marathon!!

I am sorry that I haven't been posting much, my life is a bit crazy right now and we are going to Mexico this weekend for a much needed escape and then I have back to back shower weekends. I'll try to keep up and post about everything soon, just bare with me.

Seersucker??

I really, really want a seersucker dress to wear to my rehearsal dinner. I have a back up dress from Ann Taylor that I could wear, but I don't really want to. It is silk and we are having a large catered BBQ and silk is a bit dressy.

Here is the Ann Taylor Dress. I fits great and is even my wedding colors as if that mattered.

Here is what I really want (except this dress is way too expensive) But in Pink

Has anyone seen anything seersucker that is cute out right now? I really don't want to spend $300 to find one. It is only cotton seersucker after all.
